  •            CREATE A BUSINESS:

Presenting the plans to help Chicago in the Reconstruction

Each group will present your business plan to help Chicago in the reconstruction, organized last meeting.

·         Which business plan is the best?
·         Who will invest in the first? And the second?



  •           PHOTOS ACTIVITY:
Now, Chicago was reconstructed… This is the new city. Organize the photos with the name and description.


Each of you will receive some pictures, some names, and some descriptions. You need to find the correct name and description to each picture. Then, we are going to fix here on the poster.

With the World Cup here in Brazil, it’s interesting to do activities about the countries, English expressions in soccer games,… and I found this article.
This article is very interesting because it deals with expressions that can be fooled by similar in pronunciation, but with very different meanings.

FOURTH STEP – After listening

 Let’s talk a little about what you’ve watched.

  • Did you like to watch this video?
  • What could you understand about the steps/procedures in how to make a “Perfect Panini”?
  • Which sandwich do you prefer: the chicken panini or prosciutto panini? Why?


FIFTH STEP – Project

  •     Let’s try to prepare our own sandwich.

  •    In groups of three, you will create a kind of sandwich, and write the recipe. Organize your recipe in INGREDIENTS  and DIRECTIONS, like this. You can choose the ingredients to put in your sandwiches and create a name for it.

  •     Bring all the ingredients you’ll need next class.


SIXTH STEP – Practice

´  Next class, each group will show the recipe like a TV program about cooking.

´  This presentation will be recorded.



SEVENTH STEP – Present the recordings

´  Present all recordings and talk about them.

  • We can use this posters to introduce vocabulary about food, recipes,…




























  •   With the World Cup, it’s interesting to research recipes from countries that participate to the World Cup. Each group can present a recipe from one of this countries.
